I am an experienced UK trained (London, Edinburgh with fellowship in Vancouver) Paediatrician with special interest in paediatric allergy. I have been a practicing Paediatric and Allergy Consultant at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children since 2011.
I take a holistic approach to the management of children with a range of general paediatric medical conditions, which mirrors my NHS practice. In addition I can offer specialist paediatric allergy opinion. I triage and accept referrals from a GP. My consultation lasts up to 45 minutes allowing the opportunity to discuss in detail any medical issues accompanied by a thorough clinical examination. I will follow this up with a letter to the referring GP which is copied to the families.
As an experienced Paediatrician in the NHS, I sustain a high level of expertise through active participations in acute attending and undertake around three to four allergy clinics per week and two general paediatric clinics per week.
I am an accredited specialist in paediatric allergy and a member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology and European academy of Allergy and Immunology. In addition, I am a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and complement my clinical interests with a number of other key roles including with BSACI BRIT registry committee and as Clinical lead for RCPCH invited reviews programme.
