I qualified as a doctor in 2001. After pivoting my career from anaesthetics into general practice, I qualified to become a GP in 2010. Working as a GP for the last 14 years has allowed me to acquire a breath of experience. All aspects of general practice interest me and I like to encounter and manage a variety of conditions in my clinical practice. I also acquired a DRCOG (diploma in obstetric/gynaecology) and a DFFP (diploma in family planning). These qualifications enhanced my knowledge in dealing with women's health.
I am particularly keen to apply the approach of integrative medicine for my patients which means holistic and patient-centred care is at the heart of my practice. I am really passionate about empowering my patients and health promotion by lifestyle changes to prevent illness and to modify the course of illness.
My interest in the evolution of human species/body allowed me to better understand evolutionary biology and impact of lifestyles on human body/diseases and most importantly on prevention of diseases/ill health. I ensure that I keep up to date with the full spectrum of general practice to provide the best possible evidence-based advice to my patients.

Outside medicine, I really enjoy travelling which feeds my curiosity of the evolution of various cultures and civilisations. I love to get away with my family on long walks and challenging hiking trails on varied landscapes.
