I have been a paediatric cardiology consultant for 17 years. My expertise is cardiovascular imaging including advanced paediatric cardiology echocardiography and foetal cardiology.

I have a post-graduation course in Sports Medicine and worked for five years at the Portuguese Institute of Sports Medicine as a Sports Cardiology Consultant. During this time I was the cardiologist responsible for the national elite athletes.

I am the lead for the paediatric cardiology department at Bristol Royal Hospital for for Children and I have been the lead for the foetal cardiology service since 2017.
