Since November 2011, I have been serving as a consultant in stroke medicine. Following my specialised training in stroke and geriatric medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, I served as a consultant physician at Charing Cross Hospital before moving to Bristol.
I am currently employed at the Comprehensive Stroke Unit of Southmead Hospital, focusing on acute and subacute stroke care, transient ischaemic attacks, and post-stroke complications such as memory loss, incontinence, fatigue, and dizziness.
My expertise in managing elderly patients with complex medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, and dementia, stems from my geriatric medicine training.
My research study interests include stroke in young individuals and the stroke of unknown aetiology.
In addition to my clinical duties, I manage clinical research projects at Southmead Hospital's stroke unit and hold the position of Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol.

I serve as the lead for research delivery in the stroke unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. Additionally, I am the lead for Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) services at both Weston General Hospital and Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).
