I have been a Consultant Physician in the UK since 1997, having trained in hospitals in East London and Essex. I was a Consultant Chest Physician in Kent before relocating to the Hertfordshire/North London area in 2004. I provide a comprehensive respiratory service and utilise spirometry, six-minute walk test, oxygen assessment, chest aspirations/intubation and fibre optic bronchoscopies. My main interests include chronic cough and breathing problems.
I am delighted to see patients at short notice for ad-hoc appointments and also have regular out-patient clinics on Sunday mornings. I admit patients with acute medical problems as well as respiratory conditions to Spire Bushey Hospital.
I have been working with Primary Care Trusts to develop care pathways for most chronic lung diseases, particularly COPD and chronic cough, and I have an ongoing involvement with their teaching programmes.

I am married with three children and I enjoy playing cricket and squash. I also enjoy listening to light classical music and attend the theatre whenever time allows. I am also a keen traveller.
