I am a consultant in clinical oncology specialising in the treatment and care of patients with lung cancer, thymoma, and thymic cancers. I am also lead for the stereotactic radiotherapy service at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and holds an honorary clinical senior lecturer position at Imperial College London, collaborating with the cancer imaging group to advance oncology through research and education.
I began my academic journey at St. Bartholomews and the Royal London Hospital. I completed my oncology training at Imperial College London and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. My dedication to advancing cancer treatment is exemplified by my PhD in clinical cancer imaging from Imperial College London, where my research focused on functional imaging (PET/CT and MRI), biomarker and radiopharmaceutical development, and the use of AI in oncology. I am active in clinical research and I am the principal investigator on several clinical trials within the national portfolio and an advisor to pharmaceutical companies on new treatments. I have been recognised with several prestigious awards from organisations such as NCRI, BNMS, JNM, and have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
My clinical expertise includes chemotherapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy. I am proficient in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), volumetric arc therapy (VMAT), image guided radiotherapy (IGRT), deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH), and stereotactic radiotherapy using both Linac and Cyberknife platforms.
I specialise in the treatment and care of patients with lung cancer, thymoma, and thymic cancers. My expertise includes chemotherapy, biological therapy/ targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy. I also treat oligometastases from all other tumour sites using stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR).
