Miss Jessica Smith

Team Lead Physiotherapist

Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy

"I am proud to work for Spire Healthcare because of its commitment to outstanding patient care and its focus on creating a positive and supportive work environment."

I am a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with over 8 years of experience. I specialise in sports and exercise rehabilitation therapy and enjoy working collectively as a team to deliver the best services for our patients.

My mission is to empower athletes and active individuals to achieve their highest potential through personalised rehabilitation programmes, injury prevention strategies and performance enhancement techniques.

I graduated from Keele University in 2017 where I volunteered at Stoke City football club for a few months before settling into an MSK outpatient role in the NHS. After 8 years of service with the NHS I decided to join Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital as an MSK Outpatient Physiotherapist Team Lead.

With a background and interest in football, Olympic weightlifting, and chronic pain I combine evidence-based practices with hands-on techniques to help clients recover, regain strength and return to their favourite activities.

The best part of my role is enabling patients with long-term mobility issues and pain to get back to a level of independence they didn’t think possible. Watching my patients grow throughout their treatment and regain their confidence is what drives me to continue delivering the best service possible.
