I have extensive experience in all aspects of ENT and head and neck surgery. I specialise in head and neck cancers, thyroid and parathyroid disease, salivary gland disease, throat and voice problems, neck lumps.

I have worked as Senior ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital for over 25 years and was instrumental in establishing the Head & Neck Cancer services at Addenbrookes Hospital. I treat all aspects of ENT disease (adult and paediatric) including nose and sinus disease. I undertook my subspecialty training at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

My research interests include HPV related squamous cell cancers, thyroid cancers, parathyroid disease.

I am an Associate Lecturer and teach medical students at Cambridge University. I am active in research and have supervised PhD, MD and M Phil students. I have published over 120 peer reviewed articles and presented nationally and internationally at many scientific meetings.
