I trained in Respiratory Medicine in South Wales, and have been a Consultant Physician since 1995. I am accredited by the European Sleep Research Society as an Expert in Sleep Medicine.

I have led the Sleep Service at Nevill Hall Hospital since 2003 and established the full Polysomnography laboratory at the Aneurin Bevan Sleep Centre. I am the clinical lead for Sleep Medicine for the Health Board and receive referrals for neurological sleep disorders from across South, West and Mid-Wales.

I have experience in the full spectrum of sleep disorders including Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, other sleep-related breathing disorders, neurological Sleep Disorders, Circadian Rhythm Sleep disorders and Insomnia.

I have special interest in neurological sleep disorders (eg, Narcolepsy, Restless Legs Syndrome, parasomnias, REM-Sleep Behaviour Disorder, sleep related movement disorders and Circadian Rhythm Sleep Disorders). I also have wide experience in general Respiratory Medicine and treat asthma, COPD, Interstitial lung diseases and unexplained breathlessness among other respiratory disorders.
