"Lovely environment with supportive staff."
I have been a doctor for 20 years and a Consultant surgeon since 2010. I completed my undergraduate studies in New Zealand before completing further post-CCT UGI fellowships in Leeds, St Thomas' and Oxford in the UK. I am fully trained in all aspects of UGI benign and cancer surgery and also completed training in bariatrics, which I am currently trying to introduce into my NHS practice in Cardiff. I am also trained in diagnostic and therapeutic UGI endoscopy and have close working relationships with my fellow gastroenterology and colorectal colleagues, to provide a full GI Service.
I am fully trained in general surgical procedures, but specialise in benign and cancer UGI surgery.
I am Clinical Lead for UGI Surgery in Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust.
