I am a Consultant Urologist at the University Hospital of Wales with an interest in urological cancers, minimally invasive surgery and general urological conditions.

I completed my training in the North East of England with the Keith Yeates Gold Medal in the UK FRCS Urology Examination (2011) and a fellowship in complex robotic cancer surgery at the prestigious Jules Bordet Institut, Brussels (2012).

Over the last 12 years, I have led significant improvements in urology cancer services across South Wales; performing the first robotic prostate cancer surgery (2014), kidney cancer surgery (2018), and enabling bladder cancer surgery (2024).

I have served as the Oncology Chair for the British Association of Urological Surgeons, NICE Prostate Cancer Guidance Panel, National Prostate Cancer Audit and NHS England Urology Cancer committees. My work has received several awards over the years including from BAUS (2014),  NHS (2019), Royal College of Surgeons (2023) and Cardiff University (2024).

My NHS practice is based at the University Hospital of Wales where I am the lead clinician for robotic surgery and I run two outpatient clinics per week: General Urology and multidisciplinary Uro-Oncology.
