I am a fellowship trained knee surgeon who trained at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre which is a centre of excellence with international reputation for treatment of sports knee injuries.
I also trained on the All Wales Orthopaedic Higher Training Scheme and the Seth G.S Medical College in Mumbai, both of which are among the finest orthopaedic training institutes in the respective countries.
I have been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2016 and specialise in sports related soft tissue knee injuries and total and partial knee replacements. I received the BAPIO best innovation award in 2018 for developing and performing the first day case knee replacement in South Wales. I also have a keen interest in enhanced recovery following knee surgery.
I offer day case partial and total knee replacements to suitable patients. My specialist knee practice also includes ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic knee surgery including meniscus surgery, meniscus root repair surgery, surgery for patello-femoral instability and repair of hamstring/quadriceps and patella tendon avulsions.
I am an Honorary Clinical Teacher at Cardiff University and a member of the All Wales Orthopaedic Training Committee Panel. I am involved in training orthopaedic junior doctors and in medical student teaching. I am the audit lead for our department and strive towards improving patient care and outcome. I have a keen research interest and present my work at various national and international specialist knee meetings. I am also a faculty member on various knee surgery courses.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, walking in the beautiful Welsh countryside and challenging myself to stay active by developing my skills in skiing, swimming, cycling and running.
