Spire Cardiff Hospital awarded JAG re-accreditation

We are thrilled to announce that Spire Cardiff Hospital has been awarded the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) accreditation for a consecutive year. The JAG accreditation programme is associated with Endoscopy services across the UK with the aim to improve the quality of patient care, safety and provide support to the workforce.

On the 7 April 2022, Spire Cardiff Hospital were inspected by the JAG accreditation group to establish if we continued to meet the exceptional high criteria needed for the award. We are delighted to find out that we passed the inspection and have been re-accredited the award, following our success in previous years’.

It was noted that as a hospital we have a dedicated team in our Endoscopy department and carry out a high level of patient focused services. The team were praised on their outstanding team work and commitment to deliver patient care.

Fiona Conway, Hospital Director, commented, “We are delighted to have been awarded the JAG accreditation for 2022. Our team continuously strive to provide our patients with the best care and service.
