I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in sports injuries, hip and knee surgeries. I am fellowship trained in performing complex primary joint replacements as well as revision surgeries for failing joint replacements.
My current practice consists of assessments and surgical management of sports knee injuries such as meniscal repair or ligamental injuries. I also have special interest in joint preservation surgery, unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement, total hip and total knee replacements.
I specialise in performing hip replacements through muscle (piriformis) sparing approach which will allow for enhanced recovery with improve function during post operative rehabilitation. I will also be offering robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery.
My published research interests focused on infection prevention in joint replacement surgeries and enhanced knee rehabilitations following surgery. I am also the lead author at the publication of Revision Hip Complexity Classification (RHCC) along with Experts from British Hip Society to help with national level restructuring of complex hip revision surgery network.
I am very keen on quality improvement projects. Over the past year, I have led the team into improving patient pathways, help improving efficiencies in theatre services and outpatient follow-up services

I am a firm believer that exercise plays an important role in building resilience as it helps maintain not only our physical health but also our mental and emotional health. I enjoy tennis, cycling, swimming and running which led me to participate in multiple triathlons.
