I qualified as a doctor in 2000 from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals Medical School in London. I carried out my elective training in trauma surgery at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Medical School in the USA. I am originally from the North West, but I have trained all over the UK and completed my specialist registrar training in ENT at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham Children's Hospital and University Hospital North Midlands.

I completed my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and have my name on the GMC specialist register for ENT (qualifications to become a consultant). I carried out my fellowship to super specialise in nasal surgery (rhinoplasty and advanced sinus surgery) at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford, and the nose clinic under the guidance of Mr Julian Rowe Jones.

I would have mentioned how I train at the gym and play football and hockey regularly, however since signing up for my MBA (Masters of Business Administration) course and having a family, my time is mainly spent revising and/or ferrying/chasing my two year old round the house. I do thoroughly enjoy travelling and learning foreign languages. At present I am proficient in French, German, Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati.
