I was appointed as a consultant in December 2003 and I am a member of the British association of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons and the British association of aesthetic plastic surgeons.
Since that time I have established a successful practice managing child and adult hand problems as well as general plastic surgical procedures. I have established an exploratory and successful private practice in the field of plastic surgery.
I also have an interest in hand and wrist surgery, having trained in two major centres in the UK.
I have also spent a short period of time as a visiting professor in the Wakeforest University Department, North Carolina studying the use of botulinum toxin.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Paul McArthur at Spire include:
Cosmetic surgery
Paediatrics
Other treatments
• Congenital hand problems of the upper limb spasticity and nerve surgery
• Hand and wrist surgery
