Spire Cheshire Hospital awarded third successful CAP Gold Award

The housekeeping team at Spire Cheshire Hospital have been awarded the prestigious Gold CAP Awards for the third year running.
Spire Cheshire Hospital was awarded a third successful CAP Gold Award following the latest unannounced assessment by the CAP Award Programme (Continuous Advancement Programme). This is an inspiring achievement for all those involved at the hospital.
The CAP Award programme is regarded as the highest measure of quality in ‘safe best practices’ and services. The aim of the assessment is to experience the service being received by the patients, staff, visitors and consultants. The standards of service, the team unity and supporting infrastructure at Spire Cheshire Hospital all impressed in registering a third consecutive year at the Gold CAP Award.

The CAP Inspector, said: “We are delighted to confirm that Housekeeping Services has been accredited at the GOLD Award based on the findings and scoring from the unannounced visit of Wednesday 6 November 2024. Well done to all involved, the team and Spire Cheshire Hospital. The focus shown by all involved was very impressive as was the delivery of the Hospital’s ‘hands-on’ assessment score.”
The Gold CAP Award is a welcome addition to the hospital’s excellent healthcare record and its achievements in the fields of patient care. The award has also demonstrated the importance that Spire Healthcare and the hospital places on the wellbeing of patients, staff, visitors and consultants.
