After 24 years as a consultant at Frimley Park, I retired from the NHS in 2020. I now undertake three operating and three outpatient sessions per month. I only operate on the hip and the knee and I have a special interest in young people's hip problems, particularly impingement.
Number of operations annually: Hip replacement 50; Hip arthroscopy 50; Knee replacement 20; Knee arthroscopy 20.
I am a Former Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee, Spire Clare Park Hospital and a faculty member of Smith & Nephew School of Hip Arthroscopy.

I am a keen target rifle shot and have represented Hampshire, England and GB in the past two years, spending much of my free time in the summer at Bisley. I was also Chair of Governors of Farnborough Hill School and have a great interest in education. I am married to Lorraine and have one daughter, three sons and two grandchildren. I am Chairman of my local branch of the Royal British Legion.
