I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Northern General Hospital, with a practice at Spire Claremont Hospital and a special interest in foot and ankle surgery. I treat trauma as well as all elective conditions involving the foot and ankle in adults.
I graduated from Sheffield University in 1998 then carried out both basic surgical and orthopaedic specialty training in Sheffield and the South Yorkshire region, having taken some time out to have two children during this time. I am fellowship trained, having spent a year working under the auspice of Dr Terry Saxby at the Brisbane Foot and Ankle Centre in 2010/2011 prior to being appointed as a consultant at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield in 2012.
I continue to work alongside my colleagues at the Sheffield Foot and Ankle Unit and have a keen interest in teaching and training locally, as well as being a faculty member at both regional and national courses. I am involved in ongoing research having presented work both nationally and internationally and have several peer reviewed publications.
