I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at the Northern General Hospital, with a private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital.

My clinical interests include laparoscopic surgery for benign and malignant colorectal conditions, abdominal wall reconstruction and colonoscopy.

I am a Consultant Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgeon and trained in East Anglia, working as a Consultant in Doncaster for four years before moving to Sheffield in 2014.

My managerial roles include Yorkshire chapter representative of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britian & Ireland and I am a member of the Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Senate.

I am the Associate Training Programme Director for General Surgery in the Yorkshire Deanery and hold an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturership with Edge Hill and Sheffield Universities. I am the Course Director for several surgical skills courses and in the teaching faculty of University of Edinburgh and University of East Anglia.
