I am an NHS Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery at the Northern General Hospital, with a private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital.
I graduated from London University in 1990 and continued training in Stoke-on-Trent, completing my Specialist Orthopaedic training in Leeds. I gained the FRCS (Tr & Orth) qualification in 2000.
Prior to taking up a Consultant position at the Northern General Hospital, I was the Cavendish Hip Fellow in Sheffield and President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association 2001-2002.
I am a member of the Lower Limb Arthroplasty Unit at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals who specialise in the management of hip and knee conditions.
I am also one of the founders and directors of SOL (Sheffield Orthopaedics Limited).
