Lip augmentation at Spire Claremont Hospital

The aging process can cause our lips to get thinner and lose definition.

Lip enhancement is achieved by injecting filler into the lip until the desired shape and volume is achieved.

Why you might need it

The natural aging process causes our lips to get thinner and loose definition. This can be a particularly be a problem for our upper lip. Lip enhancement is chosen by women of all ages who either have naturally thin lips or whose lips have lost their volume over time.

Lip enhancement is achieved by injecting HA filler into the lip margin (vermillion border) and into the body of the lip until the desired shape and volume is achieved.

Different HA fillers have varying lifespans ranging from 4 to 18 months. The different fillers and your options will be discussed during your initial consultation with one of our cosmetic nurses.

All dermal fillers we use come with the local anaesthetic, Lidocaine, included for a more comfortable treatment experience. Topical anaesthetic is also used to aid comfort of the procedure.
