I have particular interest in the treatment of gynaecological cancers, prostate, bladder and renal cancers. I specialise in prostate brachytherapy.
I was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2009. I am currently Clinical Director and Lead cancer Physician at the Berkshire Cancer Centre, within the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
I graduated from Merton College, Oxford and went on to complete my initial medical training at St George's Hospital Medical School, London. I then completed my postgraduate training at the Bart's and The London Hospital in 2002. I became accredited in clinical oncology in 2007. I have completed two years as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research.
