I am a general radiologist with subspecialty interest in musculoskeletal and chest imaging.
I graduated from the Medical School at the University of Edinburgh in 1991, also graduating with an intercalated honours degree in Biochemistry. I held general medical rotational posts on Edinburgh teaching hospital rotations from 1992 to 1995. I undertook a specialist radiology registrar training scheme in Newcastle-upon-Tyne from 1995 to 2000, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. I then held a Fellowship in Radiology at Royal Perth Hospital, Perth, Western Australia, specialising in musculoskeletal and chest radiology from 2001 to 2002.
I was appointed a consultant radiologist at the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust in 2002.
