I am a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. After obtaining my primary medical qualification (MBBS) with Merit from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s School of Medicine in 2008, I was awarded membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), London in 2012.

I have over 10 years' experience in cardiology training across some of the best centres in the UK including the Barts Heart Centre in London and the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre. I have dedicated fellowships in all aspects of coronary intervention and heart function impairment. In addition, I also perform non-invasive imaging using echocardiography, CT coronary angiogram and implantation of permanent pacemaker systems.

I consult patients presenting with chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, blackouts, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, valvular heart disease, and heart muscle disease, and conduct pre-operative assessment prior to non-cardiac surgery. I strive to provide a very comprehensive and compassionate management for my patients, involving them in all decision making to achieve best evidence based outcomes at all times.

I offer comprehensive assessment and management for diverse heart related conditions including ischaemic heart disease, heart function impairment, arrhythmia, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and pre-operative assessment prior to non-cardiac surgery.

I have academic interest in cardiovascular medicine having pursued two years of full-time clinical research, for which I  was awarded MD (Res) in 2015. I have published in several peer reviewed journals and am particularly interested in post-resuscitation care for cardiac arrest survivors and cardiac rehabilitation following critical illness. I am the current Clinical Lead for Cardiac Rehabilitation at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
