MBChB(Hons), BDS(Hons), FDSRCS, FRCS, FRCS(Plast)
I have extensive experience in plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
I am a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and also a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). I'm a member of the British Medical Association (BMA) and am recognised by all the major private health insurers (BUPA, PPP, Simply Health, Aviva etc) to provide treatment for their clients.
I trained in dentistry (BDS Hons) before going on to study medicine (MB Hons) and surgery (ChB Hons). All three undergraduate degrees were awarded with Honours. I went on to complete surgical plastic surgery training in Yorkshire, London, Australia and the United States of America. During my training, I successfully passed the FRCS (Eng) examination in general surgery and became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. I completed my advanced training in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in 2000.
I have a special interest in non-surgical aesthetic treatments, aesthetic surgery and safety in surgery. I undertake treatments for breast surgery, body contouring, facial surgery, wrinkle treatment and skin cancer.
I am fortunate to have worked with leaders in the field of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery from all over the world. My training included some of the most famous hospitals, including The Royal Marsden Hospital, London, Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, The Royal Brisbane Hospital, Australia and Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. I undertook specific training in cosmetic surgery as a Fellow in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Surgery, at The Wellington Hospital, St Johns Wood, London. I completed my advanced plastic surgery training and successfully passed the Intercollegiate Board examination in plastic surgery (FRCS Plast) and completed training, which was awarded a CCST (Certificate of Completion of Surgical Training). I am registered as a Specialist in Plastic Surgery on the register of the General Medical Council (GMC).
In 2000 I was appointed as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Heatherwood and Wexham Park NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust, Berkshire. In 2011 I also commenced plastic and reconstructive surgery for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. More recently, I was honoured to be appointed jointly by the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and The Royal College of Surgeons of England to the post of Specialty Surgical Tutor in Cosmetic Surgery.
