I am a consultant ENT surgeon with an interest in Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery. I relocated my Consultant Rhinology practice from Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust in 2016, having been based in Oxford since 2011.
I qualified from St Bartholomew’s Medical College in 1997, having completed an intercalated BSc in cellular pathology in 1994. During my SHO training in London, I secured a Research Fellow at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. During this time, I was awarded an MSc in Surgical Sciences and a Diploma of Imperial College (DIC) for my research in nasal airflow dynamics.
This research helped secure a higher surgical training post in Oxford culminating in Fellowships in The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, London and The Academic Medical Centre, Amsterdam. These fellowships allowed me to train in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery techniques as well as revision rhinoplasty and reconstruction of the nose and ear following cancer resection.
I maintain my practice in the management of all general paediatric and adult ENT pathologies but specialise in rhinology. This includes the management of sinus disease and correction of nasal trauma.
I am a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading.
