LM (MB BS), FRCP (Ed), Dip Ethics, Philosophy and Religion
I graduated from Medicine in Oviedo University (Spain, 2001) intercalating two years in Toulouse Paul Sabatier University and the Free University of Brussels. All my post graduate work took place in the United Kingdom, where I came over to eventually specialise as a Geriatrician and General Physician, with an interest in movement disorders and Parkinson’s disease.
I am passionate about all aspects of general medicine, and have ample experience through my work as a consultant in the NHS in diverse fields, such as Anticipatory Care Planning, Dementia and cognitive decline, Functional Neurological Disorders and Osteoporosis.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Maria Corretge at Spire include:
General medicine
Geriatric medicine
Other treatments
British Geriatric Society
British Neuro Psychiatric Society
Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
Outside medicine I have obtained a diploma in Philosophy, Ethics and Religion in 2019 and I hope to continue my studies in this area. I love being near the sea with my dog and my family, in that order…
