I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2007, specialising in knee surgery and sports injuries. My NHS practice is in the National Treatment Centre in NHS Fife, and Spire Shawfair Park Hospital.
I am experienced in all aspects of knee surgery with a particular interest in arthroscopic surgery including ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair and reconstruction, and meniscal surgery.
I graduated from Edinburgh University and after surgical training in Aberdeen and Newcastle, I undertook specialist knee surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh.
I have a number of research interests, and continue to teach both surgeons in training, and medical students.

I have worked in Fife since 2007. I am married with four children. I enjoy music and play trombone with Lochgelly Brass Band.
