Since graduating from Edinburgh University I have trained extensively in plastic surgery spending time at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, two years in Adelaide, Australia and six years in London, and six months at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children. I returned to Edinburgh in 2001 to take up my post as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St John's Hospital, Livingston and the Lothian University Hospitals NHS Trust.
At Spire Murrayfield Hospital the majority of my workload is cosmetic surgery including surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, breast surgery and body enhancement surgery. I also offer dermatological surgery for the removal of skin cancer and cosmetic mole removal.
Within the NHS my main special interests are breast reconstruction following mastectomy and the management of skin cancer including malignant melanoma and sentinel node biopsy.
