BSc MBBS PhD FRCSEd (Vasc. Surg.)
I read Medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School and graduated in 2005. After my early medical years in London, I undertook Core Surgical Training in Devon and following this I was inspired by the technical finesse and unforgiving need for operative perfection in Vascular Surgery.
I was awarded a PhD at Imperial College London in 2018, the FRCS in Vascular Surgery in 2019 and a CCT in Vascular Surgery in 2020.
I was appointed as a Consultant in Vascular Surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in 2021 and maintain an interest in the generality of vascular surgery with interests in carotid disease, renal access, limb salvage, infrarenal aortic aneurysms and venous disease.
I supervise medical students, junior doctors and vascular surgery trainees. I have also been involved in surgical education and recruitment of future surgical trainees.
