MBCHB, FRCS paed
After training in Sheffield, I moved to Scotland to do the rest of my surgical, neonatal and paediatric training. I have trained in Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, Simpson’s Neonatal Unit and Yorkhill Hospital, Glasgow. I also did a laparoscopic fellowship in Brisbane, Australia.
Since 2012, I have been a consultant at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Edinburgh (RHSC) where I undertake the full range of general paediatric surgery. I also run the tongue-tie service for the RHSC. I am the lead surgeon for IBD and have a particular interest in lower GI and urology, especially continence.
I am also secretary to the Scottish Paediatric Surgical Society.

Having spent many years living around the world, I chose to make Scotland my home, with my three boys and fellow surgeon husband. I actively enjoy crafting, baking and walking with our dogs. I enjoy architecture and spend as much time as possible in the garden.
