I graduated from the University of Leeds Medical School with honours and underwent my surgical training at a number of different hospitals throughout Yorkshire. I have a masters degree in colorectal surgery and obtained my FRCS in general surgery in 2013. I have also completed a one year fellowship in colorectal surgery, with a focus on laparoscopic surgery in Melbourne, Australia.
I am now a consultant general and colorectal surgeon at the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
