From the surgeon and anaesthetist, to the hostess and cleaner - they all showed me tremendous respect. I had my surgery on Monday 12 November, and for some reason, I had to have a general anaesthetic as well as my spinal block, so this delayed my recovery. That so, I still was discharged on Wednesday 14 November, and went home with medication to cover my pain. I have to reiterate that the Spire experience was one of sheer joy - no fear, just reassure.
