I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in shoulders and elbows, as well as, hand and wrists.
I did my post exam training at Royal Preston Hospital covering the whole range of elective and trauma shoulder surgery including shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty. My fellowship was at Wrightington Hospital providing operative experience in high volumes of all aspects of upper limb surgery with supervised and independent operating lists and clinic responsibilities.
I was also a member of the Medical Relief Unit, organising theatre camps, relief camps and transfer of patients during the Gujarat earthquake in 2001 and supported relief work for the Darjeeling, India rope way crash in 2003.
