BSc, MBBS, MRCP, MD, CCDS
I specialise in general cardiology with specific interest in cardiac arrhythmias, syncope, palpitations and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. I am also a specialist in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging, which provides high quality images of the moving heart to assess heart function, muscle abnormalities, scarring and perfusion defects.
I graduated in Medicine from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2005. I was awarded an MD for my research in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMRI) at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Foundation Trust. Following this, I undertook my cardiology training on the South East London rotation with accreditation in Cardiology in 2015. I have expertise in cardiac arrhythmia, specifically all aspects of complex implantable electronic devices/pacemakers and cardiac MRI.
To date I have performed over 1,000 pacemaker, defibrillator and resynchronisation pacemaker implants. I have over nine years' experience in cardiac MRI and have analysed and reported over 1,500 scans.
In addition to my clinical work, I am proud to be a lecturer and past Course Director of the FEEL course at King's College Hospital.
