Virtual consultations:
I am an NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals. I see and treat private patients at Spire Portsmouth and Spire Gatwick Park hospitals, where I carry out gynaecological surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
My main interest is in reproductive medicine and assisted reproduction where I have extensive experience having worked previously as a Consultant at CARE Fertility Clinic in Nottingham and as a Clinical Director of the London Fertility Centre.
I worked with the team at CARE who established a treatment programme for women with recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriages who have high levels of natural killer cells and intracellular cytokine activity. I was also on one of the pioneer teams at CARE who were responsible for the world's first live birth following array CGH (Comparative Genomic Hybridisation) which is a technique to screen eggs for chromosomal abnormalities.
I also provide surgical sperm retrieval to men who have no sperm when they ejaculate. I have many publications in national and international journals.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Ehab Kelada at Spire include:
