I have been a consultant children's orthopaedic surgeon for nine years and my practice covers all aspects of children's orthopaedic surgery including bone and joint injuries.
I specialise in all aspects of children's orthopaedic surgery including hip dysplasia (DDH), slipped upper femoral epiphysis (SUFE), deformity correction and limb reconstruction with circular frames, Perthes disease, neuromuscular disorders including cerebral palsy, children's foot and ankle conditions including clubfoot (CTEV), cavovarus foot deformity (high arch feet), children fractures and common conditions such as bow legs, knock knees and flat feet.
I am an educational supervisor to the next generation of orthopaedic consultants and supervise two masters students in trauma a year.
I am passionate about adult and children trauma and have been an honorary senior lecturer on the Orthopaedic Trauma Sciences Masters Programme at Queen Mary University of London since 2014.
I am a keen supporter of Global Children's Orthopaedic Surgery, having worked for four years in Malawi, Africa as an orthopaedic surgeon and Medical Director at Beit Cure International Hospital and continues to support training and improving orthopaedic provision in Africa.
