Bsc, PG in Audiology, Registered Hearing aid Dispenser
I completed my BSc in audiology in 1999 from a leading medical university in India and gained my postgraduate degree in audiology at the University of Manchester in 2003. I am registered with Health Professions Council (HPC), who regulate private hearing aid dispensers in the UK. I am also a member of Registered Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) who regulate the NHS audiologists.
I currently work as head of audiology services for an independent sector organisation that provide NHS audiology services across south east coast primary care trusts (PCTs). I have extensive clinical experience in NHS audiology departments as a clinician, team leader before my current role as head of the service. I started practising private hearing aid dispensing in 2007 on a part time basis.
I have comprehensive facilities for hearing aid assessment and fitting; I am specialised in digital hearing aids from most leading hearing aid manufacturers like Siemens, Oticon, Phonak, GnResound etc. I offer a full after-sale service which includes follow ups, reprogramming, annual hearing retest, on-going support and servicing of hearing instruments to all my clients. My aim is to provide the best quality of service with excellence and high standards at an affordable cost.
