I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery and treating retinal diseases. I am experienced in all aspects of general eye care; I prioritise patient centred care, taking the time to understand each individual’s unique needs and offering the latest medical and surgical treatments.

I qualified in medicine from Imperial College London and completed my ophthalmology training in the North-east of England and London. I sub-specialised in medical retina, uveitis and cataract surgery, undertaking fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

My areas of expertise include conditions such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic eye diseases, retinal vein occlusions, inflammatory eye disease and treatment with intravitreal injections and laser. I work collaboratively with colleagues in other specialities where required. I am an experienced cataract surgeon and have a particular interest in premium lens implants to manage cataracts.

I am a substantive Consultant Ophthalmologist at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust where I routinely manage patients with medical retina, uveitis, cataract as well as general and emergency ophthalmology conditions. Whether treating routine eye conditions or performing complex procedures, my focus is always on delivering the best possible outcomes for my patients.

I am also committed to staying at the forefront of ophthalmic advancements through ongoing research and involvement in clinical trials. I have had the privilege of publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and I now enjoy training the next generation of ophthalmologists
