Dr Elizabeth Adesugba

Consultant Audiologist and Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser

AuD, BSc (Hons), RHAD, MSHAA

I am a highly qualified Doctor of Audiology with over 10 years experience in private and NHS audiological care. I am an experienced lecturer nationally and internationally on topics such as anatomy and physiology, audiology and NHS professions.

I have particular interests in vestibular/balance disorder and tinnitus management. I am a hearing and balance specialist. I provide the latest technology assessment and treatment strategies in hearing and vestibular testing. This allows me to provide quick and efficient reports that are easy to understand and use immediately in the clinic. My balance tests will help assess whether a balance condition is central or peripheral in nature, which will be crucial for determining the appropriate treatment to be applied. If the patients balance condition in peripheral/vestibular in nature and uncompensated, I am able to offer vestibular rehabilitation immediately.

Services provided include the following: Hearing tests, Tympanometry and reflex testing, Videonystagmography (Ooculomotor tests including saccades, smooth pursuits and gaze testing), positional testing, Dix-Hallpike for BPPV, repositioning manoeuvres, vertebral artery screening, Video Head Impulse Testing (VHIT), vestibular rehabilitation, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management and hearing protection (including musician earplugs and swim plugs).

I am the Managing Director of a private audiology practice, Jovon Hearing Ltd.
