I provide a comprehensive respiratory outpatient practice at Spire Harpenden Hospital. I have access to excellent diagnostic facilities including a full repertoire of imaging and detail physiological studies including full lung function and sleep studies. I am thorough, have high clinical standards and respond to all requests on an urgent basis.
I trained in Leeds at the internationally renowned St James's teaching hospital. I successfully completed higher training in both respiratory and general internal medicine and completed sub-specialty training in lung cancer, airways disease, intestinal lung disease, pulmonary infection including tuberculosis and bronchiectasis, sleep medicine, ventilation, cough and pulmonary vascular disease.
My NHS practice is based at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital where I look after in-patients and carry out fiberoptic bronchoscopy. I am the lead for lung cancer and mesothelioma and work closely with primary care, bridging the boundary between primary and secondary care. My reputation is such that my expertise is regularly drawn upon for the purpose of training. I have access to interventional thoracic radiology services, thoracic surgery and oncology.
