Ms Jennifer White

Physiotherapist

Grad Dip Phys MSCP

I qualified in 2003 from the University of East Anglia with a degree in physiotherapy. Shortly after this I also studied for a BTEC diploma in sports massage and after developing an interest in Women's Health studied for a Post Graduate Certificate in Continence.

I have worked in the field of Pelvic Health since 2008 when I joined a private Hospital in London and gained a wealth of experience on the Birth Unit of the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. Since then I have worked mainly in the private sector and my achievements include developing a number of women's health services in various hospitals that did not exist.

Since moving to Hertfordshire after the birth of my second child, I have worked solely in the area of what we now refer to as Pelvic Health. I have worked at Spire Harpenden since 2020 and treat a multitude of conditions including (but not limited to) stress and urge incontinence, prolapse, pelvic and back pain during pregnancy and in the post partum period, including diastasis recti assessment and treatment, bladder pain syndromes, including vulvodynia.

I also provide general assessment and treatment for those ladies suffering with menopausal related joint aches and pains in need of a little guidance to make the journey easier. I also treat patients post gynaecological surgery and liaise closely with consultants and GP’s in the local area.
