Specialises in
I have been a consultant adult and paediatric ENT surgeon since 2021, seeing patients with a full range of ENT disorders. I have a specialist interest in ears, balance and dizziness, and children. I am the lead for inherited hearing loss and balance/dizziness in my NHS Trust and am in the process of setting up a state-of-the-art balance testing and rehabilitation suite at Bedford Hospital.
I perform hundreds of operations each year including adeno/tonsillectomy, grommet insertion and septoplasty but also more advanced procedures such as repair to the eardrum and hearing mechanisms, and mastoid surgery.
Having grown up in Cambridge, I completed my undergraduate medical training in Manchester. After a paediatric surgery themed basic surgical training scheme, I undertook my specialty registrar training in Otolaryngology in the East of England. I completed my training with an Otology and Implant fellowship at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. It was during my time there I was awarded with the COVID star for my work during the pandemic.
