I have been a Chartered Physiotherapist working in musculoskeletal services for over 10 years which has allowed me to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of different conditions. My special interests are sports injuries (particularly Martial Arts), rehab and post-operative rehabilitation. I am also one of a few physiotherapists locally who treat TMJ (jaw) disorders.
My main passion is related to acupuncture and its use within physiotherapy. I am an advanced member of the AACP and have been a published author on the topic of the use of acupuncture in Osteoarthritis of the knee. I use a combined approach of Western and Traditional Chinese acupuncture to treat many common conditions like osteoarthritis, as well as other more complex issues like headaches, but also Oncology related pain and symptoms.
Along with being a Highly Specialised Physiotherapist, I am also the manager of the Physiotherapy Department at Spire Harpenden.
