I am a senior Consultant Urologist at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage where I have practised for nearly 20 years. Additionally, I hold a senior role at the Royal College of Surgeons where I am an elected Member of Council. I have previously been the Chair of the Court of Examiners for the RCS England as well as Editor-in-Chief of the college Journal, the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
I have a wide range of clinical interests covering most urological conditions and includes robotic surgery for prostate cancer. I manage a whole range of urological conditions ranging from 'water-work' problems and incontinence, problems with the foreskin and testicular lumps, investigation of raised PSA levels with MRI and prostate biopsy, treatments for enlarged prostates, recurrent infections, kidney stones and their laser treatment, fertility issues including vasectomy reversal, erectile dysfunction, investigations for blood in the urine etc.
I have interests in the management of kidney, bladder, testicular and prostate cancer and am a core member of the Hertfordshire regional cancer centre MDT at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.

Personal profile
I am married with a young daughter who more than occupies my spare time. Outside of work I am a member of the RSPB and a keen watercolour artist. I am a Fellow of the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and have an interest in the captive breeding program for seahorses as well as those programs designed to preserve their natural habitats – both at home and abroad. I am a keen supporter of the charity Orchid Cancer Appeal.
