Treatment to relieve pressure and pain in your wrist.
At Spire Harpenden Hospital, we use clinically proven techniques for carpal tunnel release surgery. The surgery eases the pain and numbness in your hand that’s caused by carpal tunnel syndrome.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by swelling in your wrist which puts pressure on your median nerve. During surgery, your surgeon will cut the ligament that runs across the front of your wrist bones to relieve the pressure.
