Our highly skilled team of consultants and specialist support staff work together to deliver seamless private treatment and care for a wide range of cancers.

Fast diagnosis at our one-stop breast clinic

At our one-stop breast clinic you'll see an experienced consultant breast surgeon and have diagnostic tests in the same visit. This ensures your concerns are dealt with quickly without having a prolonged wait for results.

At the initial assessment, your consultant will discuss your concerns and take a full medical history. They will also carry out a breast examination to decide which diagnostic tests you will have, suited to your individual needs.

Cancer support group

We know how important a support network can be throughout treatment and after it has finished. We run a support group every other month for our patients. We invite speakers to talk about subjects relevant to you, as well as leaving plenty of time to meet with other patients to chat.

For more information about our support group speak to Amber Dance, Cancer Nurse Specialist.

Outstanding Macmillan-accredited chemotherapy ward

Heartwood, our dedicated chemotherapy ward, was opened in 2015 and has been accredited with a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark® (MQEM).

Our multidisciplinary team including surgeons, oncologists and specialist nurses will ensure that your treatment is as comfortable as possible.

Private chemotherapy treatment at Spire Harpenden Hospital is carried out in the comfort and privacy of your own en-suite room with a state-of-the-art scalp cooling system available to minimise hair loss.
