I have been an ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon since 2000 and am the designated Head and Neck and Thyroid Surgeon at Queen's Hospital, Romford. I am also the Clinical Lead for Paediatric ENT and the named clinician for children and young people at the Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

I perform all aspects of ENT surgery for adults and children. For tonsillectomy I offer the less invasive technique of intracapsular coblation. This has a recovery rate of 5-7 days compared with up to 14 days for conventional tonsillectomy; and below 0.5% risk of post-operative bleeding compared with up to 4% for conventional surgery.

My initial medical training and Masters in Surgery (otolaryngology) was in Delhi, India and I completed my higher surgical training in ENT in the UK. This included working as a senior registrar at the Head and Neck Cancer Centre at University College Hospital, London and a one year paediatric ENT fellowship at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. I also completed an MSc at the University of Warwick. In addition to my clinical and teaching work, I have published several peer reviewed publications and have presented at national and international meetings.

Besides English, I am proficient in Hindi and Urdu language.

Patients who choose to see me can expect a relaxed friendly consultation, a professional world class service and prompt diagnosis and treatment.

I have completed Paediatrics ENT Fellowship for a year from Evelina's Children's hospital, (St Thomas hospital, London) and developed a high level of expertise in comprehensive management of paediatric ENT issues. I am also trained to perform newer and less invasive techniques for Coblation tonsilotomy which has a much quicker recovery rate with lesser risk of bleeding.

I received a higher surgical training at University College Hospital, London for a year in Head and Neck and Thyroid Surgery. The clinical training includes training in all aspects of ENT surgery, in adults and children, with a main focus in Head and Neck and Thyroid surgery.

I have received a certificate of excellence 2020 from Top Doctors Patients where I have achieved a five star rating.
