I graduated in 1983 from Nishtar Medical College in Pakistan. I came to the UK in 1989 and finished postgraduation in general surgery in 1991. Following that I trained in plastic surgery in the UK and Ireland and obtained FRCS(Plastic) in 1998. I have a number of publications in plastic and hand surgery journals. I visited Atlanta, USA to obtain experience in cosmetic surgery and have had several consultant posts before starting as a consultant at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull.

I specialise in facial rejuvenation surgery, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast uplift, abdominoplasty, thigh lift and all cosmetic procedures.

An audit is carried out every year by BAAPS and figures regarding the number of operations I have performed can be found on their website.

I am a senior tutor for HYMS (Hull and York Medical School). I am regularly involved in the teaching of medical students attending our Department. I am regularly involved in the post graduate teaching of junior doctors in the department and also regional registrar teaching.
